The route from Thames Ditton to Heathrow
Drivers usually cross Hampton Court Bridge and head north-west through Hampton and Feltham on the A308 and A312, arriving near Hatton Cross. For Terminal 5, or when the local roads are slow, they may use the M3 and M25 instead. The distance is roughly 11 to 13 miles, depending on the terminal.

These are typical times, not promises. Traffic on the A312 and around the central terminal tunnel can change quickly, so for a morning flight we suggest you tell us your departure time and let the office work back from it.
Which Heathrow terminal are you using?
Heathrow has four passenger terminals, and knowing yours saves time at the kerb:
- Terminals 2 and 3 sit together in the central area, reached through the road tunnel under the northern runway.
- Terminal 4 is on the southern side of the airport and is often the quickest to reach from our side of London.
- Terminal 5 is on the western edge and is mainly used by British Airways.
Check your booking or the airline's website before you travel, because airlines do sometimes move between terminals. Heathrow also charges vehicles for using the terminal drop-off zones. Ask the office when you book whether this charge is included in your quote.
Heathrow arrivals: flight tracking and meet and greet
Coming home is where a booked car really helps. Give us your flight number and we track the flight, so an early landing or a delay does not leave you stranded or paying for a driver who arrived too soon. If you choose meet and greet, your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name board and walks you to the car park. That is useful after a long-haul flight, with children, or if you are visiting the area for the first time.
Once you have your bags, call the office on the number in your booking confirmation and we will tell you exactly where to meet the driver.
